Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.
Children living in our school zone will always be able to request enrolment in our school.
Parents and carers with children living outside our school’s zone still have the choice to request enrolment at our school. Subject to our school’s capacity, the enrolment can be accepted.
You can find more information and answers to frequently asked questions on the Department’s website under School zones.
Information for parents/carers on moving from primary school to secondary school can be found online at Moving from primary to secondary school: information for parents.
Your child’s government primary school will provide you with guidance on how to access the Year 7 Placement Information Pack and Application Form.
If you are a parent/carer of a student at a non-government school or are currently homeschooling your child, you can find more details on how to apply for Year 7 enrolment at our school at Moving from primary to secondary school: information for parents.
You may also contact our school directly for guidance on how to apply for a year 7 placement.
All students who seek enrolment in a school outside of their designated neighbourhood school should be enrolled in that school, if there is sufficient capacity at the school to accommodate all students who apply, or if this request for enrolment aligns with the school’s enrolment management plan (if they have one).
The move from primary to secondary school is a major milestone for your child. It’s a time of big changes in their development, education, and life. Secondary school provides opportunities to challenge your child and to develop the valuable skills they will take into adulthood.
