Certificate II in Business: an entry-level qualification that provides students with the knowledge and skills to enhance their employment prospects in a business or office environment. The certificate provides an understanding of business fundamentals within the Australian context and will assist students to gain employment opportunities in an entry-level administrative or customer service role.
Certificate III in Business: provides students with the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge to work in a variety of work contexts using discretion, judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.

Students who successfully complete Cert II in Business will be eligible for up to four units of credit towards their VCE at Units 1 and 2 level.
Certificate III in Business can contribute to VCE units of competency. If students wish to receive an ATAR for Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET must undertake scored assessment for the purpose of achieving a study score. This study score can contribute directly to the ATAR, either as one of the student’s best four studies (the primary four) or as a fifth or sixth study.
Note: Where a student elects not to receive a study score for VCE VET Business, no contribution to the ATAR will be available.
