Literacy Program
In a 21st century dominated by the knowledge economy, the demands made on all students’ literacy skills will be greater than ever before. In response to this challenge, Noble Park Secondary College has developed a literacy strategy which involves a whole school approach with literacy learning occurring in a highly structure environment. This strategy maximises opportunities for all students to acquire the necessary skills to succeed at school.
- English classes emphasise the acquisition of language skills.
- Maintenance and enhancement of programs in Literacy support.
- Increased levels of support for students in the transition from ESL to standard English.
- Interaction with Primary Feeder Schools in developing curriculum and participation in Professional Development activities.
